Women’s Rowing Unveils 2023-24 Schedule

Lions begin campaign at Head of Charles on Saturday
NEW YORK — Columbia Director of Rowing Tom Terhaar and women's head coach Emerson Curry have announced the program's 2023-24 schedule.
The Lions open the 2023-24 season at the annual Head of Charles on Saturday, Oct. 21 in Boston.
When the calendar flips to March, Columbia embarks on its spring slate on March 30 for the Doc Hosea Regatta in Camden, N.J. The next week on April 6, the Lions host Navy at Overpeck Park.
Columbia then will race in the Ivy League Invite in Princeton, N.J. on April 13. In last year's Ivy League Invite, Columbia had a pair of second place finishes in the varsity eight. The Lions finished in front of No. 18 Oregon State in the varsity eight heat AM racing. The Lions also finished in front of No. 17 USC in the afternoon racing.
Following a week off, Columbia will head back to Princeton on April 27. The Lions will race in the Hewitt Dauphiny Cup against Princeton and then the Woodbury Cup against Northeastern. Columbia took home last year's Woodbury Cup for the first time since 2019.
On May 5, the Lions will race in the Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Mass. The 2023-24 slate wraps up with the Ivy League Championships on May 18 in Camden.
