The Lions hit the road this week for the first time since Ivy League play started. Columbia enters this week with a 1-1 mark in conference action and a 7-2-1 overall record. Columbia will make the trip to Cornell first for a game Wednesday afternoon. Cornell is 3-2-4 overall coming off a 1-0 loss to Dartmouth last Saturday. The Lions will then head to Dartmouth this Sunday to meet the currently unbeaten 7-0-3 Big Green. Dartmouth will play Harvard on Wednesday before the matchup with Columbia.

Columbia is led by Kat Jordan, who has scored four goals this season. Maia Tabion and Ania Prussak have each tallied three goals for the Lions. On the defensive side, goalkeeper Paige Nurkin has allowed just three goals this season in losses to then-No. 8 Santa Clara and Harvard. Nurkin now is No. 8 in the nation in goals against average and No. 2 in save percentage.

The Lions (3-7, 0-3) hit the road for the last two matches of a three-game road trip with No. 10 Harvard on Friday and Boston University on Sunday. Columbia is coming off two losses last weekend to Penn at home and Fairfield on the road. Madison Kim scored her first career goal late in the fourth quarter to break up the shutout on Sunday. Lindsey Yu and Mckenzie Bloom are tied for the team lead with four goals. Yu leads the team with 11 points. Goalkeeper Katie Wimmer leads the Ivy League with 64 saves and is second in the conference in saves per game with 6.4.

The Lions look to snap a nine-game losing streak against the Crimson on Friday night. Harvard (7-3, 3-0) has won its last two matches over Yale and No. 10 Syracuse to jump up four spots in the top 25 rankings. Columbia won its lone meeting with BU in 2019 at a neutral site, 4-3. The Terriers enter the weekend at 5-5 (2-1) and winners of two in a row in back-to-back double overtime matches.

MEN'S SOCCER
The Lions (2-4-2, 0-2-0 Ivy) continue Ivy League play this Saturday when they make the trip to Princeton (3-3-1, 0-1-1 Ivy). Columbia will be looking for its first Ivy win after falling against Brown and Harvard to begin the conference season. In their most recent league game, the Lions went down by two goals in the opening 15 minutes but attempted to poise a comeback when Joao Lima scored his second of the campaign to cut the lead in half. Unfortunately, Harvard scored a third before halftime and was able to hold off Columbia's second-half rally to walk out of NYC with the win.

Columbia leads the all-time series, 33-25-12 but will be looking for its first victory over the Tigers since 2016. Princeton is 3-0-2 over the last five series matchups.
