CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. —
Phoebe Anderson was named an All-American at the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning.
Anderson finished in 29h place, earning the honor with a time of 20:01.9 in the 6k hosted at Anorama Farms Cross Country Course in Virginia.
This marked Anderson's third career appearance at the NCAA Championships, and by far her best performance. Prior to this morning, her best performance came two years ago as a first-year, where she finished 124th in the 6k at Tallahassee, Florida with a time of 20:38.3. Last year, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Anderson clocked in with a time of 21:16.6 which was good for 191st place.
