NEW YORK - Campbell Family Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Peter Pilling announced that Columbia Athletics is conducting a nationwide search to identify the Lions' next head football coach. Columbia has retained Collegiate Sports Associates to assist with the search. 

"The goals of the Columbia football program are clear; the overall development of our football student-athletes in all areas of their Columbia experience and to win Ivy League championships," Pilling said. "Through this search, we are committed to finding the right person to lead our football team as we pursue competitive excellence and instill pride in our Columbia community, especially our football alumni."

Fabish was named Interim Head Coach in August 2023 when Al Bagnoli suddenly retired as the Lions' Patricia and Shepard Alexander Head Coach of Football due to medical reasons.
