LACROSSE
The Lions will seek their first Ivy League victory on Saturday afternoon against the Princeton Tigers in New Jersey. Columbia is most recently coming off a loss to the UConn Huskies, who are receiving votes in the IWLCA Coaches Poll. After a tough first half, the Lions ratcheted up their defense, holding UConn to just three goals and outscoring the Huskies 5-3 in the time frame. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be enough to forge a comeback. Meanwhile, Princeton enters the game 1-1 so far in Ivy League competition, with a win over Cornell and a loss to Yale.
