Columbia Athletics’ Hosts Inaugural OneROAR Golf Outing

The Athletics' Development Team Raised $30,000 at the event on June 1
Columbia Athletics hosted the inaugural OneROAR Golf Outing Thursday, June 1 at the Saint Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-On-Hudson, New York. The outing brought together the entire Lions' community, regardless of sport, class year or other affinities, to create another unique pillar to the Columbia alumni experience.
The event raised $30,000 to provide our student athletes with an unparalleled experience. As we close out this fiscal year, we look forward to carrying this positive momentum into the future. And we look forward to all those who can join us for this annual outing in 2024.
"Our work is helping student-athletes navigate all the difficulties and transitions, as many of you have experienced as well," said Jessica De Palo, Senior Associate Athletics Director, Success Through Well-Being. "Thank you for your support, not only financially, but your time. It means a lot to us. It's an honor to serve this community and our student athletes. They are incredible human beings who go on to be our future leaders. The future is bright!"
The OneROAR Fund ensures that our student-athletes receive support in all areas of their athletic and academic lives and remains a priority for us in the athletics department. The nutritional, career planning, and leadership services offered to our student-athletes are all supported by the OneROAR Fund.
