Fourth All-Region selection in four seasons
CARLSBAD, Calif. — Columbia men's golf's Nathan Han was named a 2024 NCAA Division I PING All-Region honoree, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) over the weekend.
Han was one of 25 golfers honored in the Northeast Region. The final season of his illustrious collegiate career included a tournament victory, three top threes, six top 10s and seven top 25 finishes in nine tournaments. His victory came at Bethpage Red in the Doc Gimmler Invitational (Sept. 9-10), where he carded a Columbia men's golf 54-hole scoring record of 14-under par 196. Han also finished runner-up at the Columbia Autumn Invitational (Sept. 30 – Oct. 1) and the Georgetown Intercollegiate (Oct. 15-16). He went on to earn Second Team All-Ivy League honors based on his top 10 at the 2024 Ivy League Championship.
A native of Somers, New York, Han's 71.50 stroke average this season ranked third in Columbia men's golf history – he also owns the record of 70.24 from his All-American 2022-23 campaign. He graduates as the program's all-time career leader in scoring average (71.40), par or better rounds (53) and scoring average vs. par (+0.21).
The All-Region honors are the fourth for Han in his four competition seasons (2020, 2022, 2023, 2024).
