
2024 Football Schedule Features Friday Night Game Against Yale on ESPNU

The Jon Poppe era begins September 21 against Lafayette
NEW YORK — Columbia football's 2024 schedule is set and features a primetime game against Yale on Friday, November 1, at Robert K. Kraft Field on ESPNU. The Lions' season opener is also at home against Lafayette on Saturday, September 21, marking the first game under the direction of first-year Patricia & Shepard Alexander Head Coach Jon Poppe's tenure.
Week two features a trip to Washington, D.C., where Columbia will take on Georgetown on September 28 for the Lou Little Cup.
Ivy League play will commence at home against Princeton in week three (October 5) and Columbia wraps up non-conference play on the road at Wagner (October 12).
After a trip to Penn on October 19, Homecoming is set for October 26 against Dartmouth, followed by a 7 p.m. kickoff under the lights against the Bulldogs to begin week seven.
The Lions will spend the next two weekends on the road against Harvard (November 9) and Brown (November 16). Both of those kickoffs are slated for noon. Columbia will meet Cornell in the Empire State Bowl for the sixth straight time on November 23, which will mark senior day, to wrap up the season.
The remaining game times and television information will be announced at a later date.
