Baseball Completes Ivy Slate With Doubleheader Sweep of Princeton

League Champion Lions tie program record with 17 conference wins

NEW YORK — Columbia baseball earned its sixth Ivy League series win of the season following a doubleheader sweep of Princeton on Saturday from Robertson Field at Satow Stadium.

The Lions (26-15, 17-4) defeated the Tigers (17-24, 12-9) in game one 8-7, before taking the series with a dominant 9-1 victory in game two.

Jack Cooper's RBI single in the fifth inning of game one gave Columbia 360 runs batted in for the year, setting a new single-season program record. Cole Hage's double in the second inning of game two set a new single-season program record as well, giving the Lions 119 on the year.
