Columbia will host Florida, Middle Tennessee State and Miami in January 2025
NEW YORK – The Columbia men's tennis team earned host privileges and will welcome Florida, Middle Tennessee State and Miami (FL) to the Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center for the ITA Kickoff Weekend in January 2025.
Columbia secured the No. 8 seed in the field to earn hosting rights after advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time in program history back in May. The Lions finished the season ranked No. 8, which is the highest final ranking in program history.
The 2025 ITA Kickoff Weekend will take place between January 24-27, 2025 and will feature 14 host sites instead of 16 due to the new format changes coming to the ITA Division I National Team Indoor Championships. Each of the 14 host sites will have a total of four teams, for a total of 56 teams looking to earn one of the 14 spots at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
Baylor and SMU will serve as co-hosts for the 2025 ITA National Team Indoor Championships. Both teams earn automatic entry into the championships, while the remaining 14 Kickoff Weekend winners will advance to compete in Waco or Dallas.
