Women's Golf Earns WGCA All-Scholar Team Recognition

The Lions posted a 3.806 GPA in 2023-24 to rank No. 21 in the country
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — The Columbia women's golf team earned a top-25 ranking in the WGCA All-Scholar Team Award. The Lions posted the No. 21 team GPA in the country among Division I institutions, checking in at a 3.806 during the 2023-24 academic year.
The polls recognize the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest collective average team GPA, which includes all the team's student-athletes from the 2023-24 season. Columbia posted five individual members on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team – Allison Paik, Emma Shen, Yoki Tai, Ava Zeng and Angela Zhang, which was announced on July 1.
Columbia was one of two Ivy League schools represented in the rankings, joining Yale (No. 13).

Founded in 1983, the Women's Golf Coaches Association is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 650 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
