Field Hockey Announces 2024 Schedule

Lions’ 15-match slate begins Sept. 6 at UMass
NEW YORK — Columbia field hockey head coach Niki Miller has announced the program's 2024 schedule. The Lions will play seven games at home but will open the season on the road Friday, Sept. 6 against UMass.
Following the season-opener, Columbia hosts LIU for its home opener on Friday, Sept. 13. Two days later, the Lions are back at home for a matchup with Bucknell on Sept. 15. Ivy League play commences on Friday, Sept. 20 at Cornell.
Columbia then returns to New York City for two more home matches against Monmouth (Sunday, Sept. 22) and Princeton (Friday, Sept. 27). The Lions then hit the road for three straight, starting with a short trip to Wagner on Sunday, Sept. 29. The road trip wraps up the following weekend at Penn (Friday, Oct. 4) and Hofstra (Sunday, Oct. 6).
On Friday, Oct. 11, Columbia welcomes defending Ivy League Champion Harvard before playing at Brown on Friday, Oct. 18. The Lions play their final non-conference home match on Sunday, Oct. 20 vs. Delaware. Columbia closes out its road slate for the year the following weekend with matches Friday, Oct. 25 at Yale and Sunday, Oct. 27 at Lehigh.
Columbia's regular season finale and senior day is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2 vs. Dartmouth. The Ivy League Tournament is set for the weekend of Nov. 8-10 and will be hosted by the highest seed.
