Squash Wraps Up Regular Season This Weekend

Columbia will travel to Drexel Saturday before returning home for Senior Day on Sunday
NEW YORK – The Columbia men's and women's squash teams will wrap up the regular season this weekend with a road contest at Drexel on Saturday before returning to New York for senior day on Sunday. The men will host Western Ontario and the women will host Georgetown on Sunday at the SL Green Streetsquash Center in Harlem.
MATCH COVERAGE
Saturday's matches against Drexel will be streamed live through DrexelDragons.com, while Sunday's matches will be streamed live though the Columbia Stretch portal. Live scores for all matches will be available through Club Locker.
COLUMBIA IN THE RANKINGS
The Columbia men's squash sits at No. 8 in the College Squash Association rankings with a 5-6 overall record so far this season. The Columbia women's squash team is ranked No. 9 in the CSA rankings with a 3-8 overall record.
THE LAST TIME OUT
Columbia traveled to Cornell for the final Ivy League contests of the season on February 8. The men defeated Cornell in tight 5-4 victory, while the women were defeated by Cornell, 7-2.
PREVIEWING THE OPPONENTS
The men's team will meet sixth-ranked Drexel and No. 13 Western Ontario this weekend to finish the regular season slate. The Lions are looking to build on their momentum after defeating Cornell in the Ivy League finale earlier this month. Drexel enters the weekend with a 9-7 overall record after losing its past three matches. Western Ontario sits at 4-5 overall this season.
Women's squash will face No. 10 Drexel and No. 15 Georgetown to close out the regular season. The Lions are looking to get back into the win column heading into the CSA Team Divisional Championships starting later this month. Drexel enters the weekend with an 8-9 record after losing its past three contests. Georgetown is 5-8 overall and will play at Princeton before traveling to New York for Sunday's matchup against Columbia.
