PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Columbia men's and women's squash teams were defeated by Drexel on Saturday afternoon in the final road contest of the regular season.
 
MEN'S RECAP
Eighth-ranked Columbia came up just short in a tight battle against No. 6 Drexel on Saturday. Shaurya Bawa, Yusuf Sheikh, Zach Nam and Paarth Ambani earned individual wins, but Drexel pulled away at the end to post a 5-4 team victory.

WOMEN'S RECAP
The No. 9 Columbia women's squash team fell to No. 10 Drexel, 7-2 on Saturday. Simmi Chan and Andreea Ghiorghisor secured Columbia's two team points with individual victories. Chan prevailed in three games at the No. 1 spot while Ghiorghisor also won in three games playing the No. 6 position.

The Columbia men's and women's teams return to action Sunday for the final home contests of the season. The men will face Western Ontario while the women play Georgetown. Action will begin at 11 a.m. at SL Green Streetsquash in Harlem.
