Columbia men’s squash defeats Cornell; women’s squash falls to Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Columbia men's squash team edged past Cornell, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon to finish the Ivy League slate with a victory. The women's squash team was defeated by Cornell, 7-2.

MEN'S RECAP
Eighth-ranked Columbia battled to earn a 5-4 win over No. 9 Cornell Saturday to move to 5-6 overall this season. The Lions also picked up their second Ivy League victory of the season. Shaurya Bawa, Zach Nam, Imad Athar, Tommy Soltanian and Adam Goad posted wins to help Columbia secure the team victory.

WOMEN'S RECAP
The No. 9 Columbia women's squash team fell to No. 7 Cornell on Saturday, 7-2. The women's team drops to 3-8 overall this season, finishing the Ivy League slate with a 1-5 mark. Kaavya Bansal and Sophia Hu picked up Columbia's two victories on Saturday. Bansal and Hu both won in four games against their opponents.
