ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Columbia men's swimming and diving team finished in sixth place place with 854.5 points at the 2025 Ivy League Championships at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center on the campus of Brown University.
Princeton emerged victorious in the competition with a score of 1330. Harvard took second place with 1262.5 points. Yale placed third, scoring 1212.5 points.
DAY ONE
The Ivy League Championships began with the 200-medley and the 800-free relay.
Columbia's top finish came in the 200-medley relay, as the team of
Isaac Beers,
Demirkan Demir,
Andrew Fouty, and
Zion James placed fourth with a new program record time of 1:24.75.

DAY TWO
The 200 free relay team delivered the best performance of the meet so far for Columbia, bringing home a bronze medal and setting a new program record with a time of 1:17.47. The team consisted of James,
Adam Wu, Demir, and
Samuel Eckert.
The Lions' first individual podium finishers came in the 50 free, as James finished in fourth with a time of 19.49 and Eckert placed eighth at 19.67.
Joseph Nicol had a great performance on the 1m boards, winning the B Finals with a score of 305.40.

DAY THREE
Day three saw the best individual performances so far for the Lions.
The highlight was the 1000 free, where
Zach Vasser won a silver medal with a time of 8:53.42.
Stephen Zhukov was right behind him, winning bronze with a time of 8:55.28.
The 100 breast was also a great event for Columbia, as Demir placed fourth with a time of 51.85 which was a new program record.
Joshua Corn was right behind him in fifth at 52.19.
Andrew Fouty finished on the podium in the 100 fly, placing sixth with a time of 46.47.
Gian Santos won the B final of the 200 free.

DAY FOUR
The final day of competition was another good one for the Lions.
It began with Zhukov winning a bronze medal in the 1650 free with a time of 14:58.10. Vasser took fifth with a time of 14:59.91.
James had another great performance, finishing fourth in the 100 free with a time of 42.77. Wu won the B finals with a time of 43.13.
Corn also won a bronze medal with a time of 1:52.89 in the 200 breast. Demir took sixth at 1:54.23.
Joseph Nicol had a great showing for the divers, placing sixth overall on the 3m boards with a score of 311.60.
In the final event of the weekend, the 400 free relay team set a program record with a time of 2:51.97. The team consisted of James, Eckert, Santos, and Wu.

ON DECK
