Columbia (+13) in third place heading to Sunday’s final round
NAPLES, Fla. — First-year Christine Chang shot a second-round 1-under-par 71 and is tied for second after 36 holes at the 2025 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship. The tournament is being held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Royal Palm Golf Club.
Following a bogey-free 70 on Friday, Chang posted her second subpar round in as many days. After her first bogey of the tournament at the par-5 fourth, she bounced right back with back-to-back birdies at the par-3, 153-yard fifth and par-4 sixth. Two more birdies at the ninth and 10th moved her to 3-under on the day and 5-under for the tournament. There were no more birdies for the rookie the rest of the round, but she battled to the finish with six pars and two bogeys to post her 71.
Chang (-3) is tied for second on the individual leaderboard alongside Penn's Julie Shin. They all trail Harvard's Vanessa Zhang (-9), who followed Friday's 68 with a second-round 67.
Columbia (+13) is third on a bunched team leaderboard. The Lions are one shot behind second-place Penn (+12), one shot ahead of fourth-place Dartmouth (+14) and two more shots in front of fifth-place Yale (+16) and Harvard (+16). Princeton (-2) leads the field following a second-round 3-under-par 285.
First-years Emily Luo (+4) and Sarah Shao (+4) are tied for 12th individually. Luo carded an even-par 72 on Saturday that included two birdies and two bogeys. She birdied the closing par-5 18th to finish her round. She and Chang posted two of the 11 rounds of par-or-better on the day.
The Lions tee off in Sunday's final round alongside Penn and Princeton, starting at 9 a.m. Fans can find pairings and follow live scoring throughout the weekend on the College Golf Scoreboard, powered by Clippd.
