PRINCETON, N.J. — The Columbia track & field team competed in the Princeton Elite Invitational this weekend at Princeton's Weaver Stadium
The Lions had a great meet with high placements on both the men's and women's sides.
Haydn Brotschi had yet another top finish in the 400m, following up his silver medal at Heps by finishing second with a time of 46.42.
Joshua Adams placed fifth in long jump with a mark of 7.13m.
For the women, two of the three top finishes were in field events. Madison Williams placed fifth in long jump with a mark of 5.89m.
Jada Mia Puryear had another great performance, finishing third in discus with a mark of 49.27.
In the 100m hurdles, Camylin Blake placed fourth with a time of 13.80.

ON DECK:
With the regular season wrapped up, attention will turn towards NCAAs, beginning with the Outdoor Prelims. For qualified student-athletes, the competition will begin on Wednesday, May 28 at 3 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
