Gian Santos to Compete at World Aquatics Championships in Singapore

Santos will represent The Philippines and swim in the 400 Free and 200 IM
NEW YORK -- Columbia men's swimming and diving's Gian Santos is set to compete in the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore later this week.
The World Aquatics Championships are the World Championships for six aquatic disciplines: swimming, diving, high diving, open water swimming, artistic swimming, and water polo. The championships are World Aquatics' largest and main event traditionally held biennially every odd year, with all six of the aquatic disciplines contested every championship. The swimming portion, which Santos is competing in, begins on July 26.
Santos is representing The Philippines in the competition, taking part in the 400-free and 200-IM. The 400-free will take place on Saturday, July 26 at 10:00 p.m. eastern time. The 200-IM will take place on Tuesday, July 29 at 10 p.m. eastern time.

Following the event, Santos will return home and rejoin the Lions to begin preparations for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The Lions will release their full schedule in the coming weeks.
