The Lions (2-7) wrap up a season-long road trip that saw the Lions play seven matches away from the friendly confines. Last weekend, Columbia went 1-2 at the Iona/FDU Invitational. They opened the tournament with a thrilling four-set win over host Iona last Wednesday, before falling to LIU and FDU on Friday and Saturday. On Tuesday, the Lions end the road trip with a matchup against Big Ten foe Rutgers in Piscataway, N.J. It will be the third-ever meeting between the Lions and Scarlett Knights, with Rutgers owning a 2-0 advantage in the series. The last time these teams met was in 2023, when Rutgers defeated Columbia 3-1 in Levien Gym. Tuesday's match is scheduled for a 6 p.m. first serve.

Men's Soccer
Columbia (1-2-2) has its final tune-up before Ivy League play begins when it travels to Hofstra (4-4-0) on Tuesday. As of the September 16 United Soccer Coaches polls, the Pride are ranked No. 5 in the Atlantic Region. However, they have since dropped consecutive matches on the road against reigning national champion Vermont, 2-1, and at home in a CAA contest against Monmouth, 1-0. Meanwhile, the Lions will look to bounce back from a 1-0 loss at FDU last Thursday. Columbia played the Knights well but surrendered a late goal following an injury timeout that spelled the difference. It ended Columbia's three-game unbeaten streak, which was its longest since the 2018 season. Tuesday's matchup will be the 27th all-time meeting between Columbia and Hofstra and will be the first time the two sides have met since 2022. The Pride have won the last three contests but Columbia leads the all-time tilt, 16-6-4.

Women's Golf
The women's golf team competes for a third straight week, traveling to Glen View Club, just outside of Chicago, to take part in the Windy City Collegiate Classic. The event will host a stacked 13-team field, which includes Columbia, host Northwestern, Arizona State, Augusta, Duke, Illinois, Iowa State, Michigan State, Purdue, SMU, Stanford and UCLA. Tournament host Northwestern won the 2025 NCAA Women's Golf Championship. Nearly all of those teams finished in the Top 50 of the final 2025 NCAA Division I rankings, including No. 1 Stanford, No. 7 Arizona State and No. 10 Northwestern. Columbia has competed in two tournaments so far, taking second place at the 16-team Battle at the Creek. First year Kristina Xu won the tournament individually, becoming the first Lion to win a tournament in over a decade. The Lions are currently competing at the Red Bandanna Invitational (Sept. 22-23), hosted by Boston College at Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts.
