The Big Red defeat the Lions, 197-103
Columbia opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, as the A relay of Shaelyn Shields, Ashley Hong, Ella Chan, and Sally Ma touched in 1:41.85.
The Lions saw success early in the distance events, led by Lindsay Orringer's runner-up finish in the 1000 freestyle (10:00.00). Mia Avansino followed in third (10:09.67), while Meredith Stewart added a fourth-place showing to give Columbia three top-four finishers in the event.
In the sprint freestyle events, Ma delivered a highlight performance, capturing first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.24 and later placing second in the 100 freestyle (51.16). Isabel Lee added points with a fifth-place finish in the 100 free.
Columbia's breaststroke group produced a strong showing, led by Natalia Diaz's victory in the 200 breaststroke (2:18.06). Hong followed closely in second (2:18.09), giving the Lions a 1–2 finish in the event. Earlier, Diaz placed second in the 100 breast (1:03.91), while Hong added a third-place finish.
In the butterfly events, Annabelle Kung led the Lions with a third-place finish in the 200 fly (2:03.91), followed by Hayley Reed in fifth. Chan added a runner-up performance in the 100 fly (55.67), while Kung placed third again in the event.
The Lions also picked up points in the backstroke events, as Jilly MacNamara placed third in the 100 back (55.51) and later added a runner-up finish in the 200 back (1:57.58). Lorelai Page contributed with a fourth-place showing in the 200 back.
Columbia closed the meet in the 400 freestyle relay, as the A relay of Ma, Lee, Chan, and Audrey Wolk finished second with a time of 3:26.71.
On the boards, Chloe Leung delivered a standout performance, winning the 1-meter dive with a score of 281.93. Valeriya Bondarenko added points with a third-place finish in the 3-meter (258.45), while Lily Sherman placed fifth.

The Lions will host Senior Day against Dartmouth on Saturday, January 31 at 11 a.m. at Uris.
