Men's Swimming & Diving in Third After Night One of Ivies

800 Free Relay sets new program record and takes bronze
PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Columbia men's swimming and diving team sits in third place with 106 points after night one of the 2026 Ivy League Championships being held at DeNunzio Pool on the campus of Princeton University.
After two events, Princeton and Yale lead the competition with 120 points each.
DAY ONE
The Ivy League Championships began with the 200 medley and the 800 free relay.
The Lions' 200 medley relay squad got things started with an impressive third place finish. The team of Isaac Beers, Joshua Corn, Brian Lee, and Zion James clocked 1:25.33 to win the bronze medal.
The 800 free relay team finished, and set a new program record in the process. The squad of Gian Santos, Derek Hitchens, Kyle Won, and Adam Wu touched the wall with a Columbia record of 6:22.02.

ON DECK
Day two begins tomorrow with the 500 free. Prelims are set for 11 a.m. followed by finals at 6 p.m. All of the Lions' qualified divers will begin preparations for the NCAA Zone Diving competition on March 9.
