Murray, Koike-Sieira Pace Lions at Princeton Meadows Challenge

Columbia’s top finishers place 48th in the women’s 6K and 74th in the men’s 8K
PRINCETON, N.J. — Olivia Murray and Henry Koike-Sieira led Columbia cross country at the Princeton Meadows Challenge on Saturday morning.
Murray paced the women in the 6K, finishing 48th overall in 21:03.3. Dana Lehr followed in 76th with a PR time of 21:24.5, while Leanna Johnston placed 82nd in 21:30.7. Caroline Jankowich (21:56.8, PR) and Meredith Wolfe (22:00.6, PR) rounded out Columbia's five scorers.
Koike-Sieira led the men in the 8K, placing 74th overall in 24:20.0. First-year Trent Thibault finished 89th in 24:41.3, followed by Finneas Colescott in 107th (24:55.2, PR). Quentin Ryan (25:23.7) and Ben Bergey (25:40.6) completed the Lions' scoring five.
Ava Malagisi (22:21.7) and Teresina Deascanis (22:37.2) were Columbia's next two finishers in the women's race. Stephen Sziebert (25:51.5) and Ryan Son (26:03.4,PR) followed the scoring five for the men.
Columbia returns to competition on Friday, Oct. 2, at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa.
