Fall 2005: Defeated a nationally ranked player, Megan Muth of William and Mary to advance to the finals of the Cissie Leary Invitational, went on to win the “A” Flight … Muth was ranked top 40 in the coutnry and seeded 2nd in the tournament, while Kachar was unseeded … reached the round 16 at ITA Regionals. … won the Cornell Winter Invitational defeating teammate Angela Hendry …teamed up with freshman Nina Suda to win #1 Doubles against Seton Hall.
2005: First team All-Ivy League … 11-4 overall with a 4-3 Ivy League mark for singles competition. In doubles, finished 5-10… 2-4 in Ivy League play.
Fall 2004: Won C-Doubles championships with Kara Worsley at Eastern Fall Championships … went 4-3 in singles play.
2004: Ivy League Rookie of the Year … first team All-Ivy League … 13-5 in singles, 5-2 in Ivy League … 8-5 at No. 1 and 5-0 at No. 2 … won last three matches of the season all at No. 1 … defeated two second team All-Ivy League performers in straight sets; Christina Alford of Yale 6-2, 6-2 and Akane Kokubo of Cornell 6-4, 6-0 … 8-10 in doubles … teamed with Dasha Leonyuk to go 3-3 at No. 1 doubles, 2-3 in the Ivy League … she and Leonyuk defeated first team All-Ivy League pair Chao and Shwenky of Penn, 8-6 … they also beat second team All-Ivy League doubles team Kokubo and Takeuchi of Cornell, 8-5.
