Columbia women's tennis suffered a tough loss, falling to No. 18 Harvard, 7-0, at the Dick Savitt Center. The Lions fall to 6-5 on the season, 0-3 in the Ivy League.

Columbia dropped the doubles point, falling in all three matches. Milena Kachar (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Angela Hendry (C-Ormond Beach, Fla.) lost at first doubles, 8-2. Kara Worsley (C-Winston-Salem, N.C.) and Miriam Rahali (C-Bellevue, Ky.) fought back from a 6-1 deficit to get to 7-4 before falling 8-4 against Courtney Bergman and Elsa O'Riain, both of whom are ranked in the top 100 in the nation.

In singles play, first-year Angela Hendry fought well against Elsa Durkin before falling at second singles. Classmate Marlena Hall (B-Plantation, Fla.) played well against the experienced Eva Wang, but lost in straight sets.
