Alex Voulgaris

Alex Voulgaris joined the Columbia Football staff in March 2015 as a Video Assistant, before transitioning to his current role of Video Coordinator in May 2015.

A 2013 graduate of SUNY Cortland, Voulgaris came to the Columbia staff after working three seasons with the New York Jets, one as a Training Camp Intern and two as a Seasonal Video Assistant.

In his current role, Voulgaris manages the filming of practices and games as well as preparing opponent and self scout cut-ups for coaching/player analysis. He is in charge of maintaining remote classrooms, on campus and at hotels for away games, and also creates each weeks “Hit Tape” viewed by the team the night before the game.

While with the New York Jets, Voulgaris filmed games, practices and free agent workouts for the 2013 & 2014 seasons. He filmed End Zone for home and away games and also captured still shots on the sideline that coaches and players viewed using tablets at the end of each series.

A Communications major and 2013 graduate of SUNY Cortland, Voulgaris concentrated on Media Production and served as the VP, Treasurer and producer for many sports segments on CSTV 20.
