As Director of Video Technology, Jay Fitch begins his sixth year with the Columbia Football program in 2021. Fitch was promoted to the Video Coordinator position prior to the 2016 season, after spending the 2015 season as a Video Assistant.
 
Among his many duties with the Lions include video support for the coaching staff, overseeing a staff of videographers, and putting together day-to-day video of practices and games. He also produces the annual season highlight video.
 
Prior to his tenure with the Lions, Fitch served as a Multimedia Producer for MLB Advanced Media during the spring of 2016. In this role, he managed video projects, created highlight style content and edited videos for MLB.com.
 
Fitch spent the winter of 2015 as a Video Intern for the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets. He has also held roles as a Video Intern with the New York Jets and Live Productions Director with the Red Dragon Sports Network.
 
Fitch graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from SUNY Cortland in 2015.
