Columbia University Athletics

Jeremy Shapiro joined the Columbia football staff as Director of Player Personnel in April 2023. Shapiro most recently served as Coordinator of Player Personnel at the University of Maryland the past two seasons.

With the Lions, Shapiro will manage all aspects recruiting and assist with other administrative duties.

Shapiro assisted the Terps in recruiting, watched film and worked with the coaching staff. Prior to that, he served as a Player Personnel Assistant at North Carolina from 2018-21 and was a Recruiting Assistant at the University of San Diego. Shapiro also gained experience as a research intern at the NFL Network in 2015.

A 2015 graduate of the University of Southern California, Shapiro was a student manager with the Trojans while earning his bachelor’s degree in Print & Digital Journalism.
