Karem Kamel

Karem Kamel joined the Columbia football staff in August 2008 as the team's video coordinator.
During the 2007 season, Kamel shot multi-camera coverage of practices and game footage for the coaching staff. A student in Columbia's film school, Kamel also traveled with the Lions' women's basketball team, producing a documentary-style film for the team, using game and practice footage along with off-court highlights.
A talented filmmaker, Kamel has served as a project coordinator during three Sundance Film Festivals, and has experience as a production assistant on The Apprentice and with ABC Network.
A native of Brooklyn, Kamel earned his bachelor's degree in film studies from Hunter College.
