Kyle Dickinson was named Columbia Football’s Director of Football Sport Performance in August 2026.
Dickinson joins the Lions after two seasons at Army, where he worked directly with the football program, specializing in velocity-based training, Olympic lifting and return-to-play protocols in collaboration with the athletic training staff.
Prior to his work with Army football, Dickinson served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at West Point, overseeing programs for sprint football, women’s lacrosse, men’s lacrosse and men’s ice hockey. He also gained experience at the University of West Florida, contributing to a national championship football program, as well as at The Ohio State University and the University of Georgia.
A native of Ohio, Dickinson earned a master’s degree in human performance and physical education from the University of West Florida and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Baldwin Wallace University. He is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the CSCCa and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach.
