Salomon Burstein begins his second year in the full-time role as Columbia Football’s Video Coordinator. He was promoted to his current position in September 2021 after serving five years as a video assistant.
Among his many duties with the Lions include video support for the coaching staff, overseeing a staff of videographers, and putting together day-to-day video of practices and games. He also produces the annual season highlight video.
Prior to his tenure with Columbia Football, Burstein worked as a Multimedia Producer with the Major League Baseball Advanced Media from 2017-19 and as a Broadcast Associate with the Major League Baseball Network from 2019-21. He earned a Sports Emmy Award by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his work with an outstanding studio show, Daily MLB Tonight.
A native of Miami Beach, Fla., Burstein earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Cinema and Video Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2016. While at UCF, Burstein served as a student videographer with the Athletics Association for four years.
