Christopher Arkin '09CC is in his first season as an assistant coach on the Columbia men's golf staff. He was hired in December of 2024.
Arkin was a member of Columbia’s 2008 and 2009 Ivy League championship teams, including rounds of 73, 74 and 71 to help the Lions to the 2009 title. As a sophomore, he won the 2006 Penn Big 5 Classic in a playoff. He was also a First Team All-Ivy League selection as a first-year after finishing fifth individually at the Ivy League Championship.

Arkin graduated from Columbia in May of 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He went on to earn a law degree at Tulane University Law School, where he was also the managing editor of the Sports Lawyers Journal. He has since enjoyed a successful career as an attorney in private practice.
