Greg Rosnick is in his fifth season as an assistant coach on the Columbia women's basketball staff. He was hired in June of 2017 and spent the last four seasons as an assistant on the men's basketball staff at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Rosnick’s responsibilities include assisting with player development on and off the court, offensive strategy and playbook coordinator, scouting, recruiting operations and scheduling.

Rosnick came to Columbia after serving as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball program at Colby College for four years. The Mules went 53-43 during Rosnick’s tenure, which included six wins over nationally ranked opponents. The 2015-16 team won 10 consecutive games to help the program earn votes in the national top 25. Rosnick also coached three players that scored 1,000 points, another who led all of NCAA Div. III in 3-point field goal percentage, a point guard who set the program’s single-season field goal percentage mark, as well as four all-state selections.

Prior to his time at Colby, Rosnick was an assistant on the men’s staff at his alma mater, Haverford College, during the 2012-13 season. He also has a year of coaching experience at Belchertown High School in Massachusetts.

As a collegiate player, Rosnick was a two-year team captain at Haverford who earned three Centennial Conference All-Academic Team selections. As a senior, he was named to the All-Centennial Conference Basketball Team, earned the Sam Cozen Memorial Award, given by the Philadelphia Small College Coaches Association, and was honored with the Stephen G. Cary Award, given to the senior with the greatest impact on the Haverford College Athletic Department. Rosnick ended his Haverford career third all-time in assists and steals. 

Rosnick earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Haverford in 2009. One year later, he went on to earn a Master of Arts in teaching from Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
