Meghan Roxas is in her fifth season as part of the Columbia women's basketball staff.

Roxas moved into her current role as Director of Basketball Operations in July of 2017. In her position, Roxas is responsible for coordination of travel arrangements, assisting in the organization of practice, budget management, alumni relations, video coordination and special projects.

Roxas first joined the staff as Columbia’s graduate assistant team manager in 2016-17.

“Meghan is no stranger to our team,” head coach Megan Griffith said. “She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in sport management at the Columbia School of Professional Studies. She is an innovative thinker and a will be a role model for our young women.”

Roxas played two seasons at Temple before transferring to UMBC for her final two seasons. While at Temple, she was a nominee for the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Team and a member of the 2013 and 2014 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. She made 11 starts and played in 57 games for the Owls, averaging 3.0 points and 1.2 rebounds. After sitting out the 2014-15 season due to NCAA transfer rules, Roxas returned in 2015-16 to appear in 17 contests for the Retrievers, helping them to an 18-14 record and postseason berth in the WBI.

Roxas graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from UMBC in 2016. She completed her master’s degree in sports management from the Columbia University School of Professional Studies in 2018.
