Biography

2019-20 (Junior): Went 3-0 on the season ... Won a pair of matches in the season opener, knocking off Fordham's Brooke Olownia (11-2, 11-1, 11-0) and NYU's Caroline Grogan (11-0, 11-1, 11-1) on Nov. 17 ... Took down No. 13 Williams College's Isabel Kelly (11-6, 11-9, 11-6) on Dec. 6.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Served in the middle of the ladder for her sophomore season... Took home a win in the first match of the season against Williams (Nov. 30)...Had comeback from 2-0 down to win in 5 against Penn at Women's nationals and continue Columbia's dominant win.

2017-18 (First Year): Went 5-3 in first-year season competing primarily in the No. 9 position with 1-2 tally in Ivy League play...went 5-0 to start the season with wins over NYU, Drexel, Franklin & Marshall, Cornell and Virginia...Defeated Virginia's No. 9 Molly Prockop in five set thriller (Dec. 2).

HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, NJ… 4-year squash letterer and 2-year softball letterer… 2015 High School Girls DI 10th place finish… 2017 High School Girls Nationals Division II Finalists… Team captain from 2016-17… US Squash Scholar Athlete all 4 years of HS… Received the Pingry Girls Squash Award… She was ranked #20 nationally by US Squash in the GU-19 division… Her school softball team won the conference her junior year… Named an AP Scholar with Distinction.

PERSONAL: Born November 24, 1998 in Summit, NJ … Daughter of Victor and Marina Masch … Both parents came to America from Russia and worked hard to build successful careers … Sister Diana played for Columbia and graduated in 2019 … She was the only girl on her 2013 middle school team that won Division I Nationals … Plans to major in Applied Mathematics and go into a career in Finance or a related field ...Performed volunteer work with The Friendship Circle.
