
Volleyball Loses 3-0 To Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - With sophomore Natalie Gerling leading the way with 15 kills, Columbia lost 3-0 to Princeton. The Lions are now 6-18, 4-9 Ivy.
Despite the Lions' valiant effort, Columbia could not overcome the Tigers and lost in straight games. Princeton acquired a large lead in the first game and carried it through, winning 27-30. Columbia took the lead in the second game, but Princeton ensued, winning the game in the final moments again by a score of 27-30. The Tigers continued their momentum into the third game, winning 24-30.
Along with her 15 kills, Gerling also had seven digs. The Lions put up good numbers on defense with sophomore Cassie Ligh and first-year Ashley Kim having 14 digs apiece and sophomore setter Blakely Low having 12 digs and 38 assists.
The Lions face Penn tomorrow, Saturday, November 12th in Philadelphia, Pa. Game time is 4 p.m.
