
Lions Rout Dartmouth, 5-0, For First Ivy Win

In hurricane-like weather, Columbia put up its best offensive performance of the year, defeating
Senior co-captain Laura Cosan scored in the seventh minute, with a shot off a corner from Ashley McMasters. Ramie Merrill scored two minutes later on a similar corner play, on a pass from Kim Branich.
The defense kept
Megan Davidson gave the Lions a three-goal lead shortly into the second half when she put away a rebound off the initial corner shot.
In the next five minutes, sophomore Jacqui Munro scored her first and second collegiate goal off of corners for the final 5-0 win.
This is the first Ivy win for the Lions this season and the first win over the Big Green since 2000.

The Lions return to action on Sunday, for the final home game of the 2006 season, as they host Colgate at 1 p.m.
