Dartmouth got 20 plus kills from Jess Thomas and Sandy Barbut to defeat Columbia 3-1 in conference volleyball action.  The Lions fell to 5-12, 0-8 Ivy League, while Dartmouth improved to 10-8, 4-4 Ivy League.

Dartmouth hit .340 with 24 kills to win game one easily 30-20.  The Lions mustered just eight kills in the game.  Columbia battled to hit .278 in game two and held a 27-25 lead before closing out the game 30-27.

The Big Green got five kills each from Sandy Barbut and Jess Thomas to win game three handily 30-23.

In game four, Dartmouth started on a tear, connecting or capitalizing on Columbia erros for the first six points.  While the Lions got on the board, Dartmouth enjoyed a 12-1 lead before the Lions got fired up.  The Lions closed a 19-5 gap with 15-4 run making it 23-20, with the Big Green in the lead. 

Dartmouth closed out the game with the 6-5 run that they need to pick up the victory.
