Women's Tennis Defeats Temple, 6-1

NEW YORK, N.Y. - First-year Nina Suda and sophomore Marlena Hall won at #2 doubles 8-5 to clinch the doubles point and propel Columbia to a 6-1 win over Temple at the Richard Savitt Tennis Center.
In singles action, Milena Kachar won at #1, 7-5, 6-1, while Sydney Murray won at #2 6-3, 6-1. Angela Hendry won easily at third singles, 6-1, 6-0. Suda lost a tough match at #4, 3-6, 7-5 (7). The Lions won at #5 and #6 by default.
The Lions return to action on Saturday, when they host Rutgers at noon
