Lisa Stublic Places 10th in NCAA Steeplechase

SACRAMENTO, CALIF. -- In her last college race, senior Lisa Stublic ran a 10:18.67, just three seconds from her personal best, to earn 10th place in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the campus of Cal State Sacramento.
Stublic trailed early, but made her move in the final 800m to pass four runners, but finish one place shy of All-America status.
The top-ten placing caps an outstanding career and senior season for Stublic. She was an All-American in cross country, while helping to lead the Lions to four consecutive team cross country Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
