
Murphy, Crawford Honored by All-American Football Foundation

The All-American Football Foundation (AAFF) honored Columbia University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education, Dr. M. Dianne Murphy, and senior free safety Tad Crawford in a ceremony held at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton, N.J. on March 5.
Crawford was named to the 2006 AAFF All-American Football Team. On March 3, the first team All-Ivy League honoree was also named an honorable mention All-American by the Don Hansen Football Gazette.
Murphy was one of two recipients of the General Robert R. Neyland Outstanding Athletic Director Award for excellence in football.
In its first season under Norries Wilson, Patricia and Shepard Alexander Head Coach of Football, Columbia finished 5-5, marking the program's first .500-or-better season since 1996.
