HANOVER, N.H. -- Dartmouth scored four of the first five goals of the game and went on to defeat the Lions, 14-5. Holly Glynn had four goals and four draw controls against the 17th-ranked Big Green.
Dartmouth scored the opening goal 57 seconds into the contest, but did not score for the next nine minutes as Brittany Shannon knotted the game, 1-1, with a goal at 25:02. The Big Green answered with four straight goals, and 11 of the next 12 to mount a 12-2 lead with 12:13 left in the game.
Greta Meyer had four of Dartmouth's first five goals, and finished the game with five scores. Kat Collins added four goals for the Big Green, and Kristen Barry had a goal and four assists.
Gabrielle Geronimos had three ground balls for the Lions (3-4, 0-2 Ivy League), and Shannon added four draw controls. Dartmouth (4-3, 1-1 Ivy League) had a slight 11-10 edge in draws, but dominated ground balls, 26-15.
The Lions travel to Philadelphia to face Penn Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m.
