Dani Falcone, Maddy Goger Named All-Ivy Honorable Mentions

Julie Griswold recognized with Academic All-Ivy honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced the women's lacrosse All-Ivy teams and major awards on Tuesday afternoon. Dani Falcone and Maddy Goger were named All-Ivy Honorable Mentions, while Julie Griswold was selected to the Academic All-Ivy Team.

For the fourth consecutive season, Falcone was recognized with an All-Ivy accolade. The senior midfielder is one of the top players in program history, having racked up two Second Team All-Ivy nods, and now two All-Ivy Honorable Mention selections. One of the stars on the Lions' attack all season and throughout her career, Falcone was second on the team in points (30) and assists (17), and fourth on the team in goals (19). In addition to her dominance on offense, she also led the Lions with 45 draw controls while collecting 23 ground balls and forcing 16 turnovers.  She finished her career ranked third on the program's all-time draw control list and eighth on the points list. She is also in the top 10 for single season draw controls twice.

Goger earned postseason recognition for the first time in her career after a breakout sophomore season. Providing excellent defense day in and day out, Goger also contributed 15 ground balls, nine caused turnovers, and two draw controls.

In addition, Griswold was recognized for her excellence in the classroom by being named to the Academic All-Ivy Team. The Applied Mathematics major has one of the top GPAs on the team, and has been an integral part of the Lions this season on the field. The defender was in the top five on the team in both ground balls (22) and caused turnovers (11) this season. Griswold finished her career with 69 ground balls and 45 caused turnovers. This is her second postseason accolade, having been named Second Team All-Ivy in 2023.
