"I would describe the Class of 2012 as very solid," notes Bolster. "While there isn't anyone who jumps off the page as a talent that will drastically alter our dual meet success, we do have a host of guys I think will be big time point producers come championship time."
The Lions helped take care of one of their greatest needs by securing three distance freestylers. The team also solidified one of its stronger events with four breaststrokers.
"We believe there are three ? or possibly four ? guys in the class who will be able to score in three events at the EISL [Eastern Intercollegiate Swim League] Championships," Bolster explains.
NOTES: Robert Eyckmans may be the most talented and versatile member of the incoming group ... Chris Tiano is a transfer from La Salle ... Richard Falk-Wallace's father, Ed '70CC, swam for the Lions ... Bruno Esquen recently qualified for the World Youth Games by winning the 100 meter (long course) fly at the Peruvian National Championships.
