THE SERIES
This is the 70th meeting between Columbia and Harvard dating back to 1877. Harvard holds a 54-14-1 advantage and has a seven game winning streak vs. the Lions.  The Lions' last win vs. Harvard was a 16-13 win vs. the Crimson in 2003 at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium.

BRACKETT PASSING GREATS
After he threw for a pair of scores last week vs. Yale, Sean Brackett has now thrown for 33 touchdowns in his Columbia career and ranks second in Columbia history. He trails only Columbia Athletics Hall of Famer John Witkowski who threw 56 touchdown passes from 1981-1983.

SCHUSTER'S DAY
Neil Schuster totaled nine tackles with 1.5 tackles for a loss and an impressive three pass breakups vs. Yale. Schuster now ranks fifth in the Ivy league in passes defended.

CELEBRATING THE 4TH
Columbia's defense is first in the Ivy League at regaining possession after a fourth down attempt.  Columbia has stopped its opponent 11 times in 14 tries on fourth down attempts.

IN THE ZONE
The Lions have scored 11 touchdowns on 17 trips into the opponent's red zone this season. Columbia has scored a touchdown or a field goal on 76.5% of their red zone trips.

MARTIN STANDING TALL
Junior linebacker Josh Martin ranks among the Ivy League's top ten in sacks and tackles for a loss this season. Martin is fourth in the league with 4 1/2 sacks and ranks eighth in the league with six tackles for a loss.

LAST TIME OUT FOR COLUMBIA
Columbia's fourth-quarter rally came up just short against Yale in near blizzard conditions on Robert K. Kraft Field. Columbia quarterback Sean Brackett threw for two touchdowns in the 16-13 loss. The game occurred in the biggest October snowstorm to hit New York City in recorded history, since those records began being kept in 1869, according to the Associated Press.

LAST TIME OUT FOR HARVARD
Harvard had three different players rush for more than 100 yards in a 41-10 win over Dartmouth in Cambridge.

A.J. IS A.O.K.
Senior defensive back A.J. Maddox has had a nose for the football this season. He has returned an interception for a touchdown and ranks first among all Ivy League players in fumbles recovered.

NUMBER EIGHT IS GREAT
Kurt Williams leads the Columbia receiving corps with 27 receptions. After playing defensive back his first two seasons at Columbia, the senior wideout is averaging 51.4 yards per game, good for eighth in the Ivy League.

DELANEY PUTS BEST FOOT FORWARD
Sophomore punter Paul Delaney has solidified the punting game for the Lions this season. Delaney owns the longest punt in the Ivy League this season, a 67-yard boot. In last week's snowstorm vs. Yale, Delaney also launched a 62-yarder downfield that the Bulldogs' returner fumbled inside the five-yard line and led to Columbia's second touchdown of the fourth quarter that cut the Yale lead to 16-13.

ZACK ATTACK
Sophomore tight end Zack McKown, voted Columbia's most improved offensive player last spring, caught a 26-yard pass from Sean Brackett through the snow last week vs. Yale to get the Lions on the board. It was McKown's first career reception.

GRIFFIN GOES FORWARD
Sophomore running back Griffin Lowry saw his first action in the Lions' backfield vs. Yale and responded with 26 yards on eight carries, all during the second half. On Columbia's first scoring drive, Lowry gained 17 yards on three carries and was responsible for two first downs during that drive.

MURPHY'S LAW
Senior defensive back Mike Murphy made his first career interception in the game vs. Yale.

MIKE'D UP
Junior linebacker Mike Waller stepped into the lineup for sophomore Zach Olinger and played a key role on defense for the Lions vs. Yale. Waller made seven stops, including one for a loss of two yards.

DINOVO DOING BIG THINGS
Sophomore wide receiver Louis DiNovo has been a part of big passing plays recently for the Lions. Over the last four games, DiNovo has made five grabs that have gone for 10 or more yards.
