NEW YORK – The No. 57 Columbia women's tennis team had all cylinders firing Friday afternoon on its home courts, as the Lions blanked Boston University, 7-0, at the Dick Savitt Tennis Center. Columbia ups its overall record to 5-4.
The doubles duos were dominant for the home team Friday. Tina Jiang and Crystal Leung were the first to finish, as the sophomore/senior partnership claimed an 8-3 win on the first court. Kanika Vaidya and Rima Asatrian were right on their heels on the second court, playing to a clean 8-2 victory to claim the doubles point.
