NEW YORK – Fresh off its first win of the season, the Columbia women's basketball team (1-1) heads back on the road to take on Saint Francis University (1-1) on Saturday. The game is slated for 4 p.m. from DeGol Arena in Loretto, Pa.

ZIMMERMAN NAMED IVY LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• Junior Camille Zimmerman was named Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday ... Zimmerman averaged 20.0 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks through Columbia's first two games ... The returning Second Team All-Ivy League selection went for team-highs of 22 points and 10 rebounds in Friday's season opener against UMBC ... Sunday, she led the Lions to their first victory, scoring a team-high 18 points, grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds and blocking a game-high three shots in a 65-58 road win over Richmond ... The player-of-the-week selection was the fourth of Zimmerman's career ... Through the early part of this season, Zimmerman ranks atop the Ivy League in rebounds, while also ranking No. 2 in scoring, No. 2 in offensive rebounds (5.5), No. 2 in defensive rebounds (7.0), No. 3 in blocks and No. 3 in minutes (38.0).
BREAKOUT FOR KOERNER
• Sophomore Paulina Koerner scored a career-high 18 points on 4-of-8 shooting and a 9-of-10 mark from the charity stripe in Sunday's victory at Richmond ... Koerner scored 14 of her 18 points in the second half, including nine in the fourth quarter to cement the victory ... Aside from points, Koerner also set or tied career-highs in field goals made (4), free throws made (9), 3-pointers made (1), free throw attempts (10), free throw percentage (90.0%), rebounds (5), blocks (1) and minutes (37) ... For her efforts, Koerner was recognized on the Ivy League Weekly Honor Roll.
OLIVER BREAKS INTO TOP 5 SCORERS
• Tori Oliver enters today's game fifth in program history with 1,071 career points ... Oliver moved into the top 5 on Sunday with a 15-point performance at Richmond, passing current head coach Megan Griffith (2003-07) and Ellen Bossert (1984-86) in the process ... Oliver is 109 points from fourth place on the list, which belongs to Shawnee Pickney, who scored 1,180 points from 1997-2001.
LAST TIME OUT: Columbia 65 – Richmond 58
• Behind Camille Zimmerman's double-double, a career-high 18 points from Paulina Koerner and 15 from Tori Oliver, Columbia earned its first victory of the season, holding on to defeat on the road, 65-58 ... Columbia jumped out to an 18-5 lead after the first quarter, ending the period with 12 unanswered points over the final 4:15 … Richmond cut the lead to seven at halftime, 31-24, and got within three on two different occasions in the fourth quarter, but the Lions were able to fend off each rally by shooting 56-percent in the final period … A late 6-0 run sealed the victory, putting Columbia in front by nine with less than a minute remaining … The win was the first in the head coaching career of Megan Griffith, who took over the program in March.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT – SAINT FRANCIS
• The Red Flash run a high-powered offense which ranks among the top 10 in the NCAA in scoring (97.0 ppg) ... SFU began its season with a 103-100 victory at Wisconsin on Sunday, using a 10-3 run to take the lead late in the fourth quarter ... Tuesday, the Red Flash traveled to Marquette and scored 91 points against the Golden Eagles, but gave up 104 to suffer their first loss ... SFU's 102.0 points allowed per game ranks 340th out of 344 in NCAA Div. I ... The Red Flash shoot 43 percent from the floor, while opponents average 46.1 percent.
• Senior guard Katie Reese was named Northeast Conference and Mid-Major Player of the Week following a 27-point performance in the win over Wisconsin ... Reese now averages 19.0 points per game after Tuesday's outing at Marquette, second on the team to Jessica Kovatch, who scored 29 against the Golden Eagles and averages at team-best 24.5 points per game ... Ace Harrison averages a team-best 9.0 rebounds.
• Joe Haigh is in his fifth season as head coach of the Red Flash and in his ninth season on staff ... Haigh, a 1995 graduate of Notre Dame, comes into the contest with a coaching record of 53-74 (.417) and a winning Northeast Conference record of 37-35 (.514) ... Haigh has taken SFU to two NEC Tournament championship games.
