Over the next few weeks, GoColumbiaLions.com will take a look at the teams, student-athletes, coaches and staff members set to be inducted in the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame this October. Our next installment features one of the most decorated women's golfers in program history.

She led the Columbia team to their first-ever Ivy League championship in 2007, cementing her place in program history.

Prior to coming to Morningside Heights, Ovadia was a four-year letter winner at Dos Pueblos, captaining the team has a senior and a recipient of President's Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. She was instrumental in helping her team win four CIF Northern Division divisional titles from 2001-04 and two CIF Southern Section titles in 2002 and 2003.

She started her illustrious campaign in Columbia in 2005, winning the individual title at the Dartmouth Invitational, leading the Lions to a team victory at the event. She was Columbia's best finisher at the Ivy League Championships that year, finishing tied for tenth.

As a sophomore, Ovadia became the first Columbia women's golfer to claim an Ivy League Individual championship on her way to helping the Lions take the team trophy.

She finished tied for second in her junior year at the Princeton Invitational and came in eighth at the Sprider Invite, helping the team to a second place finish. She ended her season tied for eighth place at the Ivy League Championships (228).
