FRISCO, Texas — Five members of the Columbia women's golf team have been named to the 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. The five Lions receiving the honor are Bridget Chantharath, Emily Luo, Sarah Shao, Camille Thai and Emily Zeng.
The WGCA's academic honors mark the second of both Luo's and Shao's careers, as well as the first for rising sophomores Chantharath, Thai and Zeng. Among Ivy League schools, only Columbia and Dartmouth had at least five honorees.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, requiring a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. The recipient must also be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and have played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
