Defending Ivy League Champions begin the fall season September 11
NEW YORK — The 2026-27 Columbia women's golf schedule is now available. The Lions will compete in eight regular-season events, three in the fall and five in the spring.
The 2026 Ivy League Champions begin the road to their title defense September 11-13 in the Bucknell Fall Invitational. They'll make their usual stop at the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 26-27) and close out the fall by returning to the Windy City Collegiate Classic (Oct. 5-6). Hosted by Northwestern, the Windy City Collegiate Classic is guaranteed to feature a slew of the nation's top-ranked programs.
Columbia begins the fall by once again hosting the Space Coast Classic, presented by MoonGolf (Feb. 20-21). The annual spring-opening tournament is held at Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida. The Lions were runner-up at last year's event.
A spring break in Texas begins with a head-to-head single-day match against Quinnipiac (March 17) at Vaquero Golf Club in Southlake. Three days later is the first round of the More Than Golf Invitational (March 20-22), hosted by the Annika Foundation. After the first few iterations at Old Barnwell, this year's tournament is moving to Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas.
The regular season closes with a pair of new events on Columbia's schedule. The Lions will compete in the St. John's Invitational (April 5-6) at nearby St. Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson. They'll then head to College Park, Maryland, to compete in the Terps Spring Invitational (April 12-13) at University of Maryland Golf Course.
The 2027 Ivy League Women's Golf Championship will be held at The Ridge at Back Brook in Ringoes, New Jersey, April 23-25. Columbia won the 2026 event at Baltusrol for its first Ivy League title since 2007. As always, the winner of the Ivy League Championship receives the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Regionals. This year's regionals are scheduled for May 10-12.
